7Concepts SRL — Cookie Policy

Draft version — for website development purposes. To be finalized once all scripts are live on production and verified.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help our website function correctly and provide us with insights into how our site is used.

2. Cookies We Use

The table below lists the cookies currently expected on this website, based on the technologies in use (LinkedIn integration, core site functionality, and the cookie consent banner itself). This list must be verified against the live production site once development is complete, and updated if any additional tools (e.g. analytics) are added.

Strictly Necessary Cookies (no consent required)

These cookies are required for the website to function and do not require visitor consent, but are disclosed here for transparency.

Cookie Purpose Provider Duration
cookie_consent_status Stores the visitor's cookie preferences (accepted/rejected categories) 7Concepts (1st party) 6–12 months
Session cookie (e.g. PHPSESSID or equivalent) Maintains core site functionality, form submission, and security (e.g. CSRF protection) 7Concepts (1st party) Session

Marketing / Tracking Cookies (requires consent)

Set only after the visitor actively accepts this category via the cookie banner.

Cookie Purpose Provider Duration
li_sugr Browser ID cookie used to identify users for LinkedIn ad tracking LinkedIn (3rd party) 90 days
bcookie Browser ID cookie used for LinkedIn analytics and tracking LinkedIn (3rd party) 2 years
lidc Routing and session identification for LinkedIn LinkedIn (3rd party) 24 hours
UserMatchHistory LinkedIn Ads identifier, used to sync LinkedIn advertising data LinkedIn (3rd party) 30 days
AnalyticsSyncHistory Stores information about when a sync with the lms_analytics cookie took place, for users of the LinkedIn Insight Tag LinkedIn (3rd party) 30 days

Analytics Cookies (requires consent, if applicable)

Not currently in use. If an analytics tool (e.g. Google Analytics) is added during development, its cookies must be added to this table before launch, with the same level of detail (name, purpose, provider, duration).

3. How We Obtain Consent

When a visitor first loads the website, a cookie banner is displayed before any non-essential cookie is set. The banner must offer:

  • An "Accept" option, to consent to all non-essential cookie categories.
  • A "Reject" option, of equal visual prominence, to decline all non-essential cookies.
  • Optionally, the ability to select individual categories (e.g. accept marketing but not analytics).

No marketing or tracking script (including the LinkedIn Insight Tag) may load or set a cookie before the visitor has actively accepted that category. This is a development requirement, not only a text requirement — the banner must technically block these scripts until consent is given.

4. Managing or Withdrawing Consent

Visitors can change or withdraw their cookie preferences at any time via a "Cookie Settings" link, which should be available in the website footer at all times (not only on first visit). Visitors may also manage cookies through their browser settings.

Notes for the website developer

  • Implement the cookie banner so that non-essential cookies (marketing/tracking) are technically blocked until the visitor clicks "Accept".
  • Add a persistent "Cookie Settings" link in the footer, allowing visitors to reopen the banner and change their choice at any time.
  • Once the site is live, please verify the actual cookies set (via browser DevTools → Application/Storage → Cookies) and confirm or correct the list above — LinkedIn's own cookies may change over time.
  • If any analytics or additional marketing tool is added, notify us so the cookie list and this policy can be updated before launch.
